Together with various partners, neighbourhood actors and the residents of Egelsvennen, we came up with an integrated neighbourhood renovation plan that, in addition to a new pattern for the carpet district, also includes a catalogue for heritage revaluation and a step-by-step plan for housing renovation.

We tested the idea of a ‘neighbourhood engine’ there. A working model developed by AR-TUR that allows neighbourhood capital, in the form of people, tools and resources, to be transformed into added value for the neighbourhood.

With neighbourhood parties, workshops and working groups, we already kicked off the transformation with a test run during the summer: what if the asphalt becomes a place for neighbourhood and meeting?
